Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College
A caring, Christian, learning community within the Anglican tradition, which offers quality education and pastoral care through an accessible fee structure.
The foundation of this College was an initiative of the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle which purchased a 6ha site in 1998 amongst the growing suburbs to the west of Newcastle. The site has an historic mansion "Styles Grove" which was the home of James Fletcher, the first Member of Parliament for Newcastle, for ten years.
Following that it was home to the Thomas family for over seventy years and remained a private home until mid 1998. “Styles Grove” is now the administration centre for the College built in its precincts.
